Pep Rallies

Boring topic, eh? My blog. My rules. Haha! Anyways, I dislike pep rallies for many, many reasons. Let’s see if I have enough to make a decent list out of them.

1. I have no one to go with.

I don’t know about you but I feel really awkward when I’m sitting alone in a huge crowd. I also dislike being squeezed between people I don’t know. Maybe it’s claustrophobia or maybe it’s something else. I also have a thing against people touching me so… yeah.

2. It’s a waste of time.

I’d rather go to the library and finish up homework while I can do I can enjoy my weekend in peace. Or as peacefully as I possibly can. Speaking of, I’m writing this very post from my school’s library while a pep rally is going on. Actually, it isn’t surprising if it’s the reason I’m writing this.

3. Seats are hard to find and… I’m short.

My school is very populated. In fact, there are nearly 2,600 students who go here. I think you can imagine how hectic it’d be to go to pep rallies. Also, I’m only five feet tall and once the good seats are gone, like always, I can see nothing but backs. So no point in wasting my time going at all.

In conclusion, that is- wait, why am I writing this again? Hm… I guess this does help me get my frustrations out about pep rallies.

Although, I do like the extra time it gives me to do something meaningful. It’s like a second lunch! Now, that is awesome. Until next time, goodbye and stay cool. (I’ll think of a good closing sentence… eventually.)
